Where are my beach-lovers? This client came to me wanting a colorful, new look for her 2-year-old daughter’s basement playroom - but there was a catch. Not only did the room need to be fun and functional for her daughter to play, but it is also used as a media room for the grown-ups in the house! Here is their current playroom situation:
This family has a very distinct sense of style. They love the beach, bright, saturated colors, and things that to me have an edge of “funk.” I mean this in the best way possible! The rooms they already loved in their home are awesome, bold, and beautiful. Check out their beachy living room below!
But this playroom was posing a unique challenge because it needed a dual purpose, and it is quite tiny. I was so excited to work on this project because it allowed me to pull some brighter tones and go a little crazy! I can’t wait to see how the room comes together as they fulfill their design! I offered them two similar options with slightly different feels, as you can see below.
